Job summary

REV Robotics is seeking an engineer to design and build test fixtures for robotics hardware and to develop the software that runs them. You will work with embedded devices, single board computers like Raspberry Pi, and Linux, while also owning build systems for C, C++, Java projects.

You will collaborate across hardware, QA, and product teams to ensure testability and reliable validation throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with Linux environments and embedded software.
• Hands-on work with single board computers like Raspberry Pi.
• Proficient in C/C++, Java, and Python; Git version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and build test fixtures for robotics hardware and the software to run them.
• Develop fixture control software on single board computers running Linux.
• Develop embedded software on devices under test for testability and debugging.
• Create and improve build systems (CMake, Gradle) for cross-team projects.
• Automate build, test, and release workflows to validate hardware and software.
• Collaborate with hardware, product development, and QA teams throughout the product life cycle.
• Analyze test results to identify failures and drive improvements.
• Participate in code reviews.
