REV Robotics is seeking a hands-on embedded software engineer who can design and build test fixtures for robotics hardware, and also work on the embedded devices under test. You will own and improve build systems for C, C++, and Java projects, and collaborate across software and hardware teams to validate platforms.
The role involves developing on Linux, using single-board computers like Raspberry Pi, and ensuring rapid, repeatable validation workflows throughout the product life cycle.
This new role at REV Robotics sits at the intersection of software and hardware: in addition to building the fixtures themselves, you will work directly on the embedded devices under test, so hands‑on embedded systems experience is essential. The successful candidate will work with the software and hardware teams to design and build test fixtures and the software that drives them, using single board computers to exercise, measure, and validate our robotics products. You will also own and improve the build systems that our C, C++, and Java projects depend on.
