Aquent Talent is seeking a Firmware QA Engineer for a temporary placement in Beaverton, OR. You will validate firmware, hardware, and electromechanical systems across connected products, joining a fast-moving, collaborative team.

Responsibilities include building automated QA pipelines, executing comprehensive testing strategies, troubleshooting failures, and contributing to quality metrics that drive continuous improvement in product reliability for next-generation devices.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Firmware/Embedded QA.
Experience building automated QA pipelines.
Experience testing hardware-software integrated products such as connected devices or robotics.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute firmware and embedded system testing strategies.
Build and maintain QA pipelines and automated test frameworks.
Test and validate connected products, embedded systems, and electromechanical devices.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and product teams to resolve issues.
Analyze test results and report quality metrics.
