Amazon Robotics in the Greater Boston Area is seeking Embedded Firmware Co-op for Spring 2027. You will join the firmware team to develop, test, and deploy robotic systems across our fulfillment network.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with data structures, basic algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with at least one embedded programming language such as C, C++ or Rust.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist firmware team in writing code, scripts, and tests for robotic systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams through product concept to production.
• Understand embedded firmware development concepts, theories, and testing.
• Communicate effectively with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, test and deploy robotics products.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
• Build and maintain resilient, scalable, cost-effective robotic systems.
• Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to enhance development productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and patterns.
• Work in an agile environment with CI/CD and on-call responsibilities.
