Job summary

Walden Robotics, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute across the electrical systems that bring our humanoid robot to life. You will design, build, test electronics spanning compute, sensing, power, and motor drive, learning the full stack while owning well-scoped design and validation tasks.

You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional partners in mechanical, firmware, and controls to bring up hardware, debug issues, and turn prototypes into production-ready designs.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in circuit design and PCB layout.
• Soldering, wiring, and using lab instruments for measurement.
• Familiarity with analog and digital electronics.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Experience with Altium or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support design of electronic subsystems from schematic capture to PCB layout.
• Build, wire, and bring up prototype boards and hardware
• Assist with rework, integration, and debugging across the robot
• Conduct bench tests, collect data, and document performance results
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and controls engineers to integrate electronics
• Contribute to design docs and test procedures
