Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 6–10+ years designing and integrating electrical systems in robotics or complex electromechanical platforms.
• Proficient in PCB design (schematic capture and layout) using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or similar tools.
• Embedded controls, high-speed differential signaling, microcontrollers, memory buses, digital design, and power electronics experience.
• Experience with wire harness design, connector selection, cable speccing, EMI mitigation strategies.
• Hands‑on hardware testing, validating and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Electrical system architect/owner for power electronics, actuation, PCBA, battery, and high-speed nets.
• Design, develop and integrate power distribution, embedded electronics, motor controllers and safety-critical circuits.
• Own board layout of PCBs and oversee bring-up and validation.
• Determine appropriate high-speed electrical and communication protocols for reliable operation.
• Specify and design custom power electronics and distribution boards to meet requirements.
• Design and route wiring and harnesses across the platform, considering EMI and integration.
• Architect and integrate the battery system including BMS, charging, and thermal considerations.
• Define wiring interfaces for sensors and compute modules; prototype and test electrical designs.
