Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking a Business Development Manager for Robotics and Edge AI in the AMEC region, based in California. You will drive GTM strategy, shape solutions with startups and key ecosystem partners, and lead discovery with target accounts to create compelling value propositions for future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years in business development, marketing, product line management, key account management, program management or application engineering.
• Strong leadership, entrepreneurial drive and results orientation.
• Proven track record in business development or sales within fast-growth, high-tech companies.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with experience dealing with diverse customers and executives.
• Strong sales, negotiating and influencing skills; ability to interact with senior executives.
• Willingness to travel more than 30% of the time.
• Knowledge and experience with robotics customers.

Responsibilities

• Uncover new use cases and opportunities within Edge AI and robotics across multiple accounts.
• Understand customer problems, help create potential solutions and deploy use cases to key customers.
• Develop and support ecosystem partners to accelerate adoption of NXP solutions.
• Contribute to defining product roadmaps for future designs and markets.
• Train field sales and CAS teams on ecosystem strategy and target applications.
• Deliver market and competitor insights to GSM and business lines.
• Manage stakeholders across business lines and Americas account teams.
• Map capabilities to opportunities in the Americas region and report progress to stakeholders.
• Identify decision-makers and establish relationships to enable expansion.
• Coordinate globally for joint meetings with robotics customers across regions.
