Job summary

The Drexel Building Supply, Inc. is hiring an assembler to build roof and floor trusses for contractors and homeowners at our Wisconsin facilities. You’ll operate robotic truss-building equipment, verify dimensions, and ensure quality before moving assemblies to the stacker.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on tool experience, basic math skills, and a willingness to work with automated systems. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong safety and teamwork culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic math skills for measurements and counting.
• Experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Familiarity with automated or robotic machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated truss-building machinery and monitor production.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb heights as required.
• Perform quality checks and verify dimensions before stacking.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
