Drexel Building Supply, Inc. is seeking an assembler in Wisconsin to build roof and floor trusses for contractors and homeowners. This position operates automated machinery and offers a unique 2nd shift schedule from 1 PM to 11 PM, allowing for a three-day weekend.

This 2nd shift position brings a unique balance by giving you the opportunity to work Monday-Thursday, having a three day weekend! This shift is 1p-11p. Defining the Role:

• Operate and monitor automated truss‑building machinery, ensuring precise positioning of pre‑cut boards according to blueprint specifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs & climb up and down from heights between 2.5-3 ft repeatedly throughout the day.
• Basic Mathematical Skills.
• Follow Line Leaders' Instructions.
• Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints.
• Swing a hammer to connect parts at joints.
• Perform quality checks, verify dimensions and accuracy of robotic assembly before moving trusses to the stacker.
• Always maintain a safe and neat work area at all times.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

• Experience with hand and power tools, and ideally, experience with automated machinery or robotic systems (even if it's just basic operation).
• Experience with reading building plans and digital schematics.
• Basic math skills.
