Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking a Stacker Operator to operate and monitor stackers, industrial robots, and robotic palletizers in a team environment. The role includes hands-on training and a safe, efficient workflow on 12-hour schedules (4 days on / 4 days off) with day or night shifts.

Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $27.40 per hour, plus a 7% night shift premium. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred in a production setting.
• Attention to detail with ability to perform quality checks.
• Team-oriented, cooperative, able to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections and operate equipment per procedures.
• Set up machines for the next printing run.
• Monitor 2 stackers, 2 robots, and 1 palletizer.
• Assist with machine printing functions as needed.
• Conduct frequent quality checks to maintain standards.
• Perform bi-weekly maintenance tasks as assigned.
