Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is recruiting a colorectal surgeon to join the MIS/robotics colorectal group in Boise, Idaho. The role emphasizes minimally invasive and robotic techniques for benign and malignant colorectal disease, working within a multidisciplinary oncology program.

Ideal candidates will have completed a colorectal fellowship, hold ACLS/BLS certifications, and be eligible for Idaho medical licensure.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program.
• Board certification through ABS or AOBS, or within 3 years of employment.
• Completed fellowship in Colorectal Surgery.
• Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC and affiliated hospitals; DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform open, minimally invasive and robotic colorectal cancer procedures.
• Collaborate with oncology and surgical program to maintain accreditation.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
