Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a hospital-employed Anesthesiologist for a full-time position in a physician-led multispecialty group.

The team works within a high-volume trauma center with a collaborative environment and shared call. Board certification or eligibility with ABA/AOBA is required or must be obtained within 3 years of employment; Idaho licensure and DEA registration are required.

• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board certification through ABA or AOBA or obtain within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC; valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• MDs are scheduled for 2,060 hours annually to maintain 1.0 FTE status.
• Hospital-employed, team-based anesthesia practice in a multispecialty setting.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID.has the region's most advanced Trauma Center which recognizes their dedication to providing the highest quality, most optimal care for all critically ill and injured patients. Saint Alphonsus Health System was named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson Health.

Wide array of case mix to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory (additional pay for cardiac experience). No complex pediatrics, burns, or transplants. This is a hospitalemployed W-2 position.

Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care. Supervision model with a max 4:1 ratio.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
• Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
