Job summary

Optimal Solution Company in Warren, MI seeks an experienced robotics simulation engineer to build and validate digital twins of robotic workcells using NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse. You will develop Python-based simulation workflows and integrate real robot data.

The role focuses on connecting CAD data, sensors, and production parameters to physics-based models, evaluating welding, material handling or tool motion, and communicating results to engineering teams.

Qualifications

Experience building, integrating, or validating manufacturing digital twins using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, or equivalent.
Strong Python programming skills for developng maintainable simulation workflows and data-processing tools.
Experience simulating robotic workcells with joints, trajectories, tool paths and timestamps.
Experience connecting real-time or recorded robot data to simulation environments, preferably FANUC.
Understanding robotic workcells, fixtures, tooling, sensors and manufacturing-process data in a digital twin context.
Ability to study, reproduce, or analyze manufacturing behavior with simulation models.
Experience comparing simulation results with real data and refining models accordingly.
Ability to explain simulation assumptions, data requirements, limitations, and results to engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.
