Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Deployment Engineering Manager to lead the technical squad responsible for bringing our robotic welding cells to life on customer floors. You will scale field operations, systematize execution, and drive first-time quality across each cell deployment.

You’ll own the Jira lifecycle, build robust SOPs, mentor field engineers, and collaborate with Product and Fleet Operations to prioritize improvements. Travel to customer sites will be required as deployments grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in deployment engineering, field engineering, or related technical environments.
• Experience leading technical engineers in field/customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, robotics, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to develop and standardize processes, SOPs, commissioning procedures, and operational metrics.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems and driving root-cause analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deployments and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Scale the deployment engineering function by recruiting, training, and onboarding field talent.
• Build repeatable infrastructure playbooks, SOPs, and commissioning checklists to accelerate value for customers.
• Implement field metrics frameworks to track installation hours, calibration efficiency, and capacity.
