Faraday Future in California is seeking a Robotics Data Operator to join the Robotics Data Factory. You will collect high-fidelity human behavior and robot teleoperation data to train Vision-Language-Action models for real-world robot perception and interaction.

The role emphasizes egocentric data capture, VR teleoperation, and strict adherence to technical specs, with attention to data quality, formatting (MCAP/HDF5), and secure handling of sensitive information on-site.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in a related role or internship.
• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to follow complex technical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Egocentric Data Collection with head-mounted devices to capture first-person tasks.
• VR Teleoperation to control robotic systems and capture multi-modal data with low latency.
• Technical Specification Compliance: ensure 1080p, 30FPS, FOV >130°, camera intrinsics, and time-synchronization.
• Quality Assurance & Pre-processing: initial self-inspections, filter clips, format data as MCAP/HDF5, and upload per protocol.
