Job summary

Faraday Future in Los Angeles is seeking a Robotics Data Operator to collect high-fidelity datasets for Vision-Language-Action models. You will work with head-mounted devices to capture first-person data and operate robotic systems through VR interfaces to perform complex tasks.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 years of related experience, familiarity with Python, Linux CLI, ROS2, and AI labeling workflows, and a passion for embodied AI and robotics.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS or related field with focus on robotics or AI
• Experience with data collection and labeling for robotics projects
• Familiarity with sensor data, video capture, and calibration
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining data quality and privacy

Responsibilities

• Egocentric data collection using head-mounted recording devices
• VR teleoperation of robotic systems for complex manipulation tasks
• Ensure data quality with 1080p/30FPS standards and time-synchronization
• Format data into MCAP, HDF5 and upload per protocol
