Job summary

Faraday Future is seeking an Embodied AI Tooling Engineer to build the end-to-end AI tooling ecosystem for its robotics platform in California. You will own the infrastructure powering the Embodied AI architecture, enabling data collection from robotic platforms and simulation for model training.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in CS/Robotics/EE or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in Robotics, AI, or Autonomous Driving.
• Pro-level Python and C++ proficiency; ROS/ROS2; PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Solid data pipelines (ETL), sensor fusion, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with simulation engines: NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Mujoco.

Responsibilities

• Architect a modular and scalable robotics tooling portfolio integrating simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and cloud infrastructure.
• Define a strategic roadmap balancing innovation with stable, high-performance tools.
• Develop multimodal data alignment, telemetry, and visualization dashboards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with AI researchers and hardware engineers.
• Deliver production-ready software from prototypes to deployment.
