Job summary

Collaborative Robotics in Santa Clara, CA is hiring a Robotics Data Collection Operator to support AI data collection efforts and help develop next-generation collaborative mobile robots with an innovative team.

This full-time role offers 7 AM–3 PM PT or 3 PM–11 PM PT shifts, requires onsite work, and pays $20 per hour for 40 hours weekly, with benefits eligibility after 90 days. Start date ASAP through March, extension possible.

This role is located at our Santa Clara, CA office. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

The role is full-time, with working hours between 7 AM and 3 PM PT or with working hours between 3 PM - 11 PM PT, Monday through Friday, depending on the candidate’s availability and business needs.

We are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible, and continue with us through at least the end of March, with the possibility of an extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage AI data collection processes to ensure accurate, high-quality data is gathered across all setups

• Learn from engineers across AI, software, test, mechanical, electrical, and related disciplines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older. This is a great fit for recent STEM graduates, students currently enrolled in a STEM-related program, or anyone looking to build hands‑on experience in the robotics/AI industry.

• Demonstrated interest in robotics, engineering, and/or data through school, personal projects, clubs (FIRST, VEX, Science Olympiad, etc.), or hobby work

• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others

• Highly motivated teammate with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Enjoy working in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic start‑up environment as part of a small team.

• Must be able to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA, for either the day shift (40 hrs/week) or evening shift (40 hrs/week)

• Must have reliable transportation to the Santa Clara, CA office onsite.

• Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in robotics or engineering through school projects, personal builds, or clubs like FIRST, VEX, or Science Olympiad

This full-time role is paid hourly at $20/hr, for 40 hours per week. This is an hourly, non‑exempt position and is eligible for company‑sponsored health benefits after 90 days of employment.
