Job summary

Nimble is hiring Data Collection Supervisors to lead a pod of 8–12 operators on a shift, coaching performance, ensuring quality and safety, and driving high-volume data collection for robot training. This player-coach role requires hands-on leadership and a commitment to Nimble's legendary impact.

The position offers a start pay range of $95,000–$105,000/year with equity, and requires in-person work at the collection site in our fast-paced robotics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading frontline hourly teams in fast-paced operations.
• Experience coaching people to a measurable standard.
• Comfort with direct performance conversations and in-person coaching.

Responsibilities

• Run the shift end to end: coverage, attendance, breaks, task assignments.
• Coach operators against quality scorecards and certify ramp cohorts.
• Deliver onboarding training and provide rapid pass/fail feedback.
• Own first-line performance management and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians to minimize downtime.
• Report shift metrics daily: operator-hour episodes, rig uptime, attendance.
• Enforce safety and data-handling procedures without exception.
• Contribute to site playbooks and future location launches.
