We are hiring aRobotic Controls Software Engineerto join our fast-paced automation team focused on building the next generation of intelligent robotic systems. This role is ideal for a back-end software engineer with a strong control engineering background and hands-on experience developing cloud-connected, real-time robotic automation platforms.

The successful candidate will play a central role in architecting and delivering scalable systems that control and monitor robotic devices—blending modern cloud technologies with control theory and robotics automation.Expertise in C#, .NET Core, AWS, and React is essential. A background inAI/ML integrationis a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust back-end systems usingC#,.NET Core, andAWSto support robotic control and automation workflows.
  • Design and implement real-time control systems for robotic platforms, including motion control, sensor fusion, and actuator coordination.
  • Build RESTful APIs and services for orchestrating autonomous robotic operations and remote diagnostics.
  • IntegrateReact-based front-end interfacesfor system monitoring, command execution, and visual feedback from robotic subsystems.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to interface with sensors, motor controllers, and embedded systems using modern communication protocols (i.e., CAN, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
  • LeverageAWS services(i.e., Lambda, IoT Core, ECS, S3) to deploy scalable robotics solutions for industrial environments.
  • Contribute to simulation and digital twin environments to validate control strategies and robotic behaviors.
  • Apply software engineering best practices, including unit testing, CI/CD, and DevSecOps principles, for secure and maintainable code.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on control systems or robotic automation.
  • Proficiency inC#,.NET Core, and modernReactfront-end frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge ofAWScloud infrastructure, including microservices and serverless architecture.
  • Solid foundation in classical and modern control systems, including PID tuning, kinematics, and system modeling.
  • Familiarity with industrial fieldbus protocols and hardware integration for robotic motion control.
  • Experience with ROS, ROS2, or equivalent middleware for robotic system development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied experience inrobotic automation for manufacturing, logistics, or precision systems.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models for perception, prediction, or adaptive control.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo, Webots, or custom test harnesses.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes or AWS ECS), and infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver production-ready systems in a startup or agile R&D environment.
