Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks a student Co-op starting Spring 2027 in the Robotic Branch of ITSD within ATAS. You will contribute to dexterous control of a robotic arm and small mobile platforms, working to design, develop, and implement mechanical and electrical subsystems for robot platforms.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CE/EE/ME/CS with a 3.0+ GPA, able to participate in a three-term co-op program, and capable of collaborating in a team while performing background

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Must be eligible to participate in a co-op program and register for co-op credit with university during work terms.
• Must complete at least three full-time co-op terms prior to graduation.

Responsibilities

• Background research related to robotic systems and dexterous control.
• SolidWorks design for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Programming, debugging, and testing of robotic platforms.
