Job summary

Allegion plc is seeking a Maintenance/Technical Specialist to troubleshoot and repair robotic and CNC systems, support process improvements and assist with commissioning new equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork across maintenance, operations and quality to sustain safe, efficient manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with robotics, CNC and automation, strong problem-solving skills, and a readiness to work hands-on with equipment while following safety standards.

Qualifications

Two years of technical school, college toward a Bachelor of Science, or equivalent technical training.
Background in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Strong CNC, PLC, robotics, automation, and controls experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair major technical issues in manufacturing environments.
Assist with programming, installation, commissioning, and servicing of robotic and CNC systems.
Assist Engineers with designing, testing and upgrading production processes.
Help develop and maintain process documentation (routings, work instructions, time studies).
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, quality, materials and others to improve processes and meet deadlines.
