Job summary

Allegion is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle facility and production equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. The role requires reading blueprints, electrical knowledge, and ability to develop practical solutions for complex machine problems.

Candidates should have 5+ years in maintenance, experience with PLCs, robotics, hydraulics/pneumatics, and a strong safety mindset, with OT willingness and 5S discipline to keep areas clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience with PLC programming and robotics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with OSHA lockout/tag out and NFPA 70E safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure production uptime.
• Develop and implement solutions for equipment, building, and production machine problems.
• Cross-train in multiple areas each year to support operations.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean, organized work areas per 5S standards.
• Able to work overtime as required and communicate effectively with team.
