Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Cell Operator to maintain and operate automated adapters interfacing with the Symbotic system. You will help ensure system readiness to hit performance targets and use Human/Machine Interface terminals to operate equipment.

The role sits in a Customer Operations setting focused on day-to-day robotic material handling, quality, safety and system performance. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience and at least 1 year in automation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, automation, manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with mechanical automation systems or equivalent training.
• Proficiency in system inspection, cleaning, lubrication, tolerance checking and electrical measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-production checks on automated adapters to ensure equipment is ready to run.
• Monitor and control the flow of automated storage and retrieval systems to maximize throughput.
• Prepare pallets for induction into the storage and retrieval system.
