Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of motion planning, trajectory generation, and control systems.
• Experience developing algorithms for robotic systems (wheeled, legged, or humanoid).
• Familiarity with motion planning libraries like OMPL, MoveIt, Nav2, ROS/ROS 2.
• Solid programming in C++ and Python on Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with robotics middleware such as ROS/ROS 2.
• Experience with robot sensors (LiDAR, stereo/depth cameras, IMUs, GPS, encoders).
• Ability to work on US government projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement motion planning and navigation algorithms for real-world scenarios.
• Tune control algorithms for precise trajectory tracking across robotic systems.
• Collaborate across perception, planning, and control to ensure robust performance.
• Build testing pipelines from unit tests to full robot deployment and evaluate with simulations.
