As the Robotics Autonomy Engineer – Planning and Control, you will design, implement, and deploy advanced motion planning and control algorithms for diverse robotic platforms, ensuring robust navigation and efficient trajectories both in simulation and in the field.

Qualifications

  • PhD/MS/BS with progressive industry/applicable research experience is required or strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of motion planning, trajectory generation, and control systems is essential.
  • Experience developing algorithms for robotic systems (wheeled, legged, humanoid, etc).
  • Familiarity with robotics middleware (ROS/ROS 2) and planning libraries is required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop robust motion and navigation planning algorithms for challenging real-world scenarios.
  • Advance integration of planning with control for precise trajectory tracking.
  • Validate and test algorithms across simulation and real-world deployments.
  • Diagnose field issues through data analysis and implement targeted improvements.
