Job summary

Ascent Professional Services supports a manufacturing client in Germantown/Menomonee Falls area seeking Automation Technicians. The role involves setting up robots, EOAT, and automated machinery with 12-hour day/night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities include safety, GMP basics, and continuous improvement input. Ideal candidates have GED or higher, 2–10 years in automation, and familiarity with Fanuc 6-axis/SCARA robots.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required; technical college or university degree preferred.
• 2–10 years of related automation/manufacturing experience.
• Automation experience in manufacturing environment required.
• Forklift and Lockout/Tagout certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and SOPs.
• Perform robotic programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Support automated machinery production runs and resolve issues.
• Train on assembly machines and robot set-ups.
• Keep work instructions up to date and accurate.
• Order parts and materials as needed.
• Document robotic applications and backups of programs.
