Job summary

Jack Links in Perry, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the plant and equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and document work in CMMS.

The role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and the ability to handle heavy physical tasks. The position offers hourly pay with opportunities for growth, benefits, and a stable shift pattern including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic trades; motors, controllers, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing; PLC I/O; TCP/IP.
• Preferred: 2-year technical degree and meat processing facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions and conduct scheduled testing.
• Perform preventative maintenance and enter daily Work Orders into CMMS.
• Collaborate with site managers to plan maintenance schedules.
• Repair mechanical and electrical components and replace worn parts.
• Follow safety standards and work in a clean, organized shop.
