Global technology and advanced manufacturing organization seeks a hands-on Robotics Engineering Lead to develop and deploy automation solutions in a live manufacturing setting.

You will lead automation projects from concept through integration, validation, and production launch, focusing on collaborative robots for assembly, material handling, and testing, plus autonomous mobile robots for intra-factory material movement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in industrial automation/robotics in live production.
• Hands-on programming and integration of collaborative robots (e.g., UR) and end effectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept to production deployment.
• Program and integrate cobots, end effectors, grippers, sensors and vision systems.
• Develop robotic solutions for assembly, pick-and-place, material handling and testing.
• Deploy and integrate AMRs in factory-floor operations.
• Use ROS/ROS 2 and simulation tools to optimize layouts and performance.
• Document designs, test results, safety requirements, and procedures.
