Job summary

McHenry County College is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant to support lab spaces, clean and organize work areas, and assist with demonstrations for classes. You will handle materials, inventory supplies, and help faculty with lab activities in a hands-on educational environment.

Work up to 20 hours per week with a schedule varying based on student availability. Enrolled MCC students meeting GPA requirements are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in 6 MCC credit hours.
• Must hold a minimum of a 2.0 GPA (First semester GPA waived).

Responsibilities

• Clean lab and classroom spaces.
• Prepare materials for labs.
• Organize lab spaces.
• Inventory lab supplies.
• Assist faculty to support lab activities.
