Job summary

Lansing Community College’s Automotive Technologies lab is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant to support instruction and maintain the lab environment. You will assist students, prepare materials, and help instructors with demonstrations and safety checks.

The role may require evening/weekend hours and ensures proper setup, cleanup, and inventory of tools and supplies in a compliant, student-focused learning space.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or high school diploma with related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic database use.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in completing lab projects and assignments.
• Help prepare and organize lab materials, tools and equipment.
• Support instructor demonstrations and ensure lab safety.
