Job summary

Accenture seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to turn robotics use cases into safe, scalable production systems across manufacturing and logistics. You will design, program, deploy industrial robots and AMRs, and collaborate with OT teams and clients.

The role requires hands-on experience with industrial robots, ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++, plus travel up to 75%. You will work with simulation, validation workflows, and robotics intelligence to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in robotics automation, robot programming, controls integration, AMR/AGV deployment or autonomous systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot, cobot or mobile-robot ecosystem such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots or equivalent.
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals including coordinate frames, kinematics, motion, sensors, controls and safe operation.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation equipment, software or operational processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, troubleshoot across hardware and software, and work safely in operational environments.
• Working awareness of the broader Physical AI lifecycle and how simulation, training, orchestration, industrial data and operations support robotics deployment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots and AMRs.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, safety systems, and MES/WMS/ERP.
• Develop robot programs using ROS/ROS 2, Python, and C++.
• Support layout validation, safety assessment and tooling specs.
• Document programs and support requirements.
