Job summary

Sharpa is seeking a hands-on technician to support the maintenance, assembly, and testing of our autonomous robotic systems at our U.S. office in Mountain View.

You will work closely with global teams to ensure field readiness and high-quality performance of our dexterous hands and robotic platforms. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a related field and demonstrable experience in precision assembly, testing, and repair.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in precision assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or repair of mechanical or robotic products.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail on complex tasks.
• Proficient with standard office tools for test reports and data organization.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese for global collaboration.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the United States and internationally.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic products at the U.S. office and client sites.
• Support product assembly, testing, inspection, and fault diagnosis.
• Coordinate with China-based engineering teams on failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain service records, test data, issue logs, and repair documentation.
• Support demonstrations, including setup, testing, and issue resolution.
• Assist Application Engineers with equipment prep, shipping, and on-site support.
• Assist with setup and upkeep of the rework area and repair room.
• Use 3D design software to support drawings and engineering documentation.
