Job summary

Tutor is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own the full recruiting lifecycle for engineering and research roles across software, hardware, and AI/ML. You'll source, screen, coordinate, and close candidates, partnering closely with engineering and research leadership, and reporting into the Head of People Strategy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with exposure to software, hardware, or research roles.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates.
• Technically literate to discuss engineers' work meaningfully.
• Strong relationship-builder with candidates.
• Organized and process-oriented; maintain ATS cleanliness.
• Familiarity with Lever ATS (we currently use Lever).

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and research roles across software, hardware, and AI/ML.
• Build and maintain deep pipelines for hard-to-fill tech roles with outbound sourcing.
• Partner with engineering and research leadership to define role requirements and fit.
• Deliver candidate experiences that reflect Tutor's culture at every touchpoint.
• Maintain recruiting data in Lever and ensure timely reporting.
• Ensure smooth handoff from offer acceptance to day one with People Ops.
