Job summary

Foundry Robotics is seeking a senior technical recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for robotics and AI/ML researchers. You will source from literature, conferences, and labs, building strong university relationships and deploying AI-assisted outreach to scale candidate flow.

You will decompose roles into skills, develop competency maps with the hiring manager, and calibrate interviewers for research-focused evaluation. This is a hands-on, senior role in Emeryville.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical recruiting for robotics/AI/ML
• Ability to read papers and summarize research contributions
• Knowledge of labs, advisors, conferences in robotics/AI
• Experience building faculty and lab relationships that yield hires
• Built or operated tooling that multiplies sourcing output
• Deep interest in technology beyond clean requisitions
• Can present a competency map and defend it to hiring managers

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for robotics and AI/ML researchers.
• Source candidates from literature and top conferences (arXiv, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).
• Build relationships with university labs and faculty.
• Use AI tooling to scale outreach and candidate matching.
• Develop competency maps with hiring managers and calibrate interviewers.
• Lead talent competitor analyses against frontier labs and startups.
• Ensure hires align with strategic technology goals.
