Job summary

Precision Metal Manufacturing, LLC is seeking an experienced Robotic Welding Technician to program, set up, operate, and maintain robotic welding equipment. You will work with Yaskawa robots and Fronius power sources to weld aluminum per AWS D1.2 standards, interpreting drawings and welding symbols.

The role requires hands-on programming, cell setup, and routine maintenance to ensure production efficiency and weld quality. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating Yaskawa robotic welders.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.2 aluminum welding requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Troubleshooting robotic welding systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Program and adjust robotic welding paths and parameters.
• Set up, load, unload, and operate robotic welding cells.
• Perform robotic welding of aluminum components.
• Adjust welding parameters (voltage, wire feed, travel speed).
• Set up fixtures and verify part positioning.
• Monitor weld quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Inspect welds for AWS D1.2 compliance and quality.
