Job summary

Rapid-Line, Inc. seeks a Weld Fabricator/Robot Technician to join our fabrication team. You will weld aluminum and stainless steel, program Motoman robotic weld cells, and verify parts against drawings and specifications.

You will read blueprints, select welding methods, operate equipment, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area and supporting production schedules.

Training and safety compliance are essential, with focus on preventing defects and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys per drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specs.
• Program, set up, and operate Motoman robotic weld cells.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
• Verify dimensions with calipers, rulers, squares.

Responsibilities

• Weld components to spec using appropriate methods.
• Inspect finished parts for defects.
• Monitor processes to prevent overheating or distortion.
• Maintain documentation on job packets.
• Support production schedules.
