Maverick Group US is seeking a Robotic Welding Sales Engineer to act as the technical authority on automated welding and robotic integration. You will work with the regional sales team to evaluate feasibility, design custom solutions, and demonstrate capabilities to close complex automation deals.

The role combines hands-on demonstrations with multi-state travel and intensive training on leading welding platforms, offering a stable, long-term career path with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to manufacturing environments.
• Deep knowledge of MIG/TIG welding processes and metallurgy.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% regionally.
• Strong interpersonal skills for executives and shop-floor staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority on automated MIG/TIG welding applications.
• Qualify opportunities and support regional sales teams.
• Analyze weld prints, geometry, joints, and cycle times for feasibility.
• Join meetings with client engineering teams to discuss processes.
• Program and operate robotic welding cells for demos and estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering and PM for custom weld packages.
• Coordinate handoffs from sales to deployment.
