Job summary

Path Robotics is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our sales team and translate complex manufacturing challenges into tailored robotic welding and automation solutions. You will work closely with engineering and customer teams, applying expertise in welding, CAD, and AI technologies to design and present actionable plans for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Weld Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Familiar with CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Experience delivering technical presentations and communicating product value.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.
• Interest in startup environment and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand and communicate the technical details of Path Robotics’ products, making informed recommendations to meet customer needs.
• Serve as a technical advisor for prospects and clients, addressing inquiries and providing troubleshooting assistance.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer manufacturing processes to deliver impactful solutions.
• Be an expert in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, sensors, and AI technologies, and their applications in manufacturing.
• Lead and deliver technical presentations that demonstrate product value and suitability for solving specific manufacturing challenges.
• Drive new business opportunities by leveraging understanding of customer needs to accelerate tailored solution development.
• Support the sales process from discovery to closure, application assessment, pipeline management, and final delivery.
• Gather customer feedback to inform engineering teams about potential product enhancements and new features.
