Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or Welding Engineering Technology is required.
• ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 7 years of relevant welding engineer experience, preferably in automation.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select welding methods and develop welding parameters and qualifications.
• Lead robotic and automated welding operations productively and safely.
• Ensure equipment is operated per manufacturer specifications.
• Develop lean manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement in AM.
• Prepare, review and release welding procedures per specs and qualifications.
• Support shop floor operations and generate process improvement ideas.
