Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing in Germantown, WI, is seeking a Robotic Welding Cell Set-up/Operator for 1st or 2nd shift. You will set up and operate a Panasonic TA MIG welding robot to meet customer specs, with duties including part loading, inspection, and documentation.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school.
• Three to six years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and robotic welding equipment per job orders.
• Read drawings and shop orders to verify specs and dimensions.
• Safely welds per specifications to produce quality parts.
• Assemble metal pieces to meet efficiency standards.
• Measure dimensions using calipers and height gauges to ensure conformance.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to lead/supervisor.
• Document data in written or electronic systems.
• Perform maintenance on robotic systems and welders as needed.
• Develop robotic paths to improve safety and efficiency.
• Adjust robot movements to optimize quality.
