Job summary

Angstrom NA LLC is seeking a highly skilled technician to load, refine, and validate programs for robotic welders (MIG/TIG/spot) and to optimize CNC machine tending paths for smooth part flow.

Responsibilities include calibrating robotic arms and sensors, verifying weld controllers from leading brands, and performing regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Strong problem-solving and safety awareness are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on welding experience across MIG, TIG, and spot welding.
• AWS certification in robotic welding is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret check sheets.

Responsibilities

• Program robotic welders for multiple welding processes and update CNC machine routines.
• Install, program, and fine‑tune robotic welding equipment to production specs.
• Configure CNC machine tending automation and troubleshoot to hit goals.
• Calibrate robotic arms, end‑of‑arm tooling, and sensors to ensure quality.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on welding systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and reduce downtime.
• Monitor weld quality and adjust parameters to meet specs.
• Maintain safety, proper PPE, and organized work area.
