Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior MIG welding experience preferred.
• Must stand, twist, lift, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel safely.
• Follow Work Instructions (WI) precisely.
• Wear OSHA PPE at all times.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Able to operate various welding machines safely.
• Capable of handling weights up to 51 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts to schedule and WI specifications.
• Verify with Quality first-piece inspection.
• Hammer-stamp on all products produced.
• Count and label products correctly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping in welding area.
• Meet or exceed efficiency rates.
• Meet quality welding standards.
• Remove non-conforming material at end of shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
