Lake Air Products is hiring a Robotic Welder/Programmer in Little Chute, WI. This full-time on-site role requires welding expertise and 1 year of programming experience. You will program and set up fixtures, design tooling, and inspect welded parts to ensure conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• 1 year programming experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of welding required.
• Experience with FANUC Robots is a plus.
• Ability to weld components in various positions.
• Reading blueprints and performing measurements.

Responsibilities

• Program and set-up fixtures to hold metal components for assembling structural forms.
• Participate in fixture design to facilitate productive welding of parts.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts; install fixtures for holding metal parts, torch, or arc welding equipment.
• Observe tests on welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, or grind parts to satisfy requirements and create final product.
• Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating or distortion.
• Audit quality requirements and rework missing welds after the process.
