Job summary

GenMet in Mequon, WI seeks an experienced Robotic Welder to operate and program Fanuc robotics for MIG and TIG welding. This role requires reading blueprints, setting up welds, and maintaining equipment to meet tight customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and welding fabrication experience.
• 1-3 years Fanuc robot welding operation and programming experience.
• Experience with Fanuc power supply preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program Fanuc robot with a Fronius Welding Power Supply.
• Set up and prepare surfaces, assemble parts for welding.
• Interpret blueprints/engineering drawings for welding to meet customer specs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and ensure a safe workplace.
• Support ISO9001, ITAR, OSHA compliance.
• Capable of passing AWS certification for MIG and TIG welding.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
