Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Welder to operate semi-automatic robotic and 3-axis torch MIG welders to build assemblies per specifications with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will inspect welded products for defects, measure symmetry, and adjust fixtures to ensure correct part alignment. Strong focus on safety, reliability, and meeting production schedules is required.

Qualifications

• Identifies incomplete weld penetrations and lack of fusion.
• Maintains safe working environment and adheres to PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates semi-automatic robotic and 3-axis torch control MIG welders.
• Inspects welded products for defects (undercut, porosity, cracks, blow holes).
• Measures product symmetry and adjusts fixtures as needed.
• Reads part numbers and installs correct fixtures on equipment.
• Navigates equipment HMI for recipe selection per part number.
• Completes tasks per manufacturing schedules within standard times.
