Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Robotic Welder Operator in Maxton, NC. You will load plates and inserts into a robotic welder, adjust process parameters for quality, and perform safety and TPM tasks on a night shift (Friday–Sunday, 7pm–7am).

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and basic computer literacy. Regular on-site attendance is essential, with potential for other duties as assigned and opportunities to grow in a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interface with computer/iPad based programming.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Load plates and inserts into robotic welder fixture per SOP.
• Operate machine and adjust parameters to ensure quality.
• Perform safety checklists and daily PMs on equipment.
• Follow 5S and Standard Operating Procedures.
• New Shift: Friday - Sunday, 7pm - 7am.
• Regular on-site attendance is required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
