Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma, GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Basic understanding of computers and software.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Reading, writing and simple math skills; able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform daily equipment checks (crane and other equipment).
• Meet welder II quality and productivity requirements.
• Weld manually to fit-up vessel areas not robotically compatible.
• Operate robotic welding equipment independently.
• Use fixtures to set up jobs as required.
• Make minor adjustments to operate robotic welding equipment.
• Handle related duties as assigned.
• Utilize a computer with basic software skills and MRPs/ERP system.
• Complete 90 days of robotic welding training and use of software.
