PT&P, based in Houston, seeks a Robotic Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role involves setting up robotic welding cells, loading parts, monitoring welds, and ensuring quality in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with FANUC robotics is highly preferred. You must have a minimum of 5+ years in welding and 2+ years in robotic welding, with a high school diploma or GED; additional technical training in welding or automation is preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum 5+ years welding experience plus 2+ years of robotic welding experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in welding, robotics, automation, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of welding or metal fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience operating, setting up, teaching, or troubleshooting robotic welding equipment; FANUC experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMAW/MIG welding processes, weld parameters, wire-feed systems, shielding gases, and welding consumables.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and inspection requirements.

Mansioni

• Operate, set up, and monitor robotic welding cells, preferably FANUC systems, per work instructions and production schedules.
• Load, unload, position, and secure components for proper fit-up and repeatable weld quality.
• Select approved weld programs and adjust robot positions, weld paths, wire feed speed, voltage, travel speed, and other parameters.
• Monitor weld performance and inspect parts for size, penetration, and quality against drawings and specs.
• Perform minor weld touch-ups, grinding, and cleaning as required.
• Read fabrication drawings, weld symbols, work orders, and specs to confirm requirements.
• Troubleshoot routine alarms and equipment issues; escalate complex problems to maintenance or supervision.
• Complete production and quality documentation and maintain a safe, organized work area.
