Job summary

Door Engineering, a Senneca Brand, is seeking welders to join our Mankato facility. This role focuses on welding while upholding quality and production standards and involves a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m., with paid meal breaks and a 20% differential. Responsibilities include reviewing blueprints, performing quality checks, documenting welding outputs, and collaborating with production teams to meet schedules while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years welding or fabrication experience.
• D1 certification preferred or ability to pass test.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience with robotic welding equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Weekend shift availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications prior to production.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the welding process.
• Maintain proper documentation related to welding operations and production output.
• Work closely with production teams and leadership to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and SOPs.
• Assist in improving robotic welding processes and efficiencies when possible.
